Spicy Mutton Fry Recipe

Spicy Mutton Fry Recipe | Flavorful Indian Lamb Fry

Cooking Time – 30 mins | Serves – 4

INGREDIENTS:

1. Mutton – 1/4kg

2. Onion – 1 (medium size)

3. Ginger-garlic paste – 1tsp

4. Coriander powder – 1tsp

5. Jeera powder – 1tsp

6. Red chilli powder – 2tsp

7. Oil – 2tbsp

8. Turmeric powder – 1tsp

9. Cloves – 2 Cardamom – 2

10. Cinnamon stick – 1

11. Garam masala powder – 1tsp

12. Coriander powder – 1tsp

13. Salt to taste

RECIPE PREPARATION:

1. Wash mutton well under running water and drain it completely. In a pressure cooker, add onions, ginger-garlic paste, coriander powder, jeera powder, turmeric powder, salt and mutton

2. Add 2 cups of water into it. Close the lid and pressure cook for 4-5 whistles, till the mutton is tender. Switch off the flame and set aside.

3. Make mutton is cooked completely before you fry it otherwise it turns rubbery.

4. Heat 2tbsp of oil in a pan, add cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and let this splutter. Pour the mutton with the left over stock. Mix everything together and add salt if needed.

5. Cook a medium flame until all the stock evaporates and the masala clings on to the mutton. Finally, add garam masala powder and coriander leaves.

6. Switch off the flame and serve mutton fry with rice or roti
