Shefali Satish Jariwala (born 15 December 1982 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat) rose to stardom at the age of 20 through the 2002 remix music video “Kaanta Laga”, becoming a cultural phenomenon overnight . The catchy visuals and her bold charisma earned her instant fame, followed by more music videos like “Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar Remix” and “Maal Bhari Aahe” .
She made a brief Bollywood appearance with a cameo in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), alongside Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Priyanka Chopra . She later explored the South Indian market with the Kannada film Hudugaru (2011) and became a favorite on Indian reality TV, participating in Boogie Woogie (2008), Nach Baliye 5 (2012–13) and Nach Baliye 7 (2015–16) with second husband Parag Tyagi, and entering Bigg Boss 13 as a wildcard in 2019 .
