Alia Bhatt is a renowned Indian actress and singer known for her work in Hindi-language films. Born on March 15, 1993, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, she hails from a family deeply rooted in the Bollywood film industry. Her father, Mahesh Bhatt, is a prominent filmmaker, and her mother, Soni Razdan, is an accomplished actress and director. Alia has an elder sister, Shaheen Bhatt, a writer, and two half-siblings: Pooja Bhatt, an actress and filmmaker, and Rahul Bhatt, a fitness trainer.

Alia completed her schooling at Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai. She ventured into acting at a young age, making her debut as a child artist in the 1999 film “Sangharsh,” where she portrayed the younger version of Preity Zinta’s character.
